The value of the $US in circulation as currency has been increasing at an almost exponential rate. While the Euro has only been in existence since 2002, it’s short history has shown a more linear growth rate.

Let me see if I get this right. Since 2002, the value of euros in circulation has increased from 210 mn to about 650 mn, a factor of 3, more or less. Since 2000, the value of USD in circulation has gone from 560 mn to, say, 830 mn. That’s around a 50% rise over a two year longer period. What was your point again (other than getting the rabble all roused up, that is)?
Oh, and if your going to go to the trouble of posting per capita since 1955, you might at least have deflated it by the CPI.
